Todd Family

September 27, 2007

Had a great time Monday night shooting the Todd famiy! I photographed Kim and Jeff’s wedding back on 1/1/06, and my how time flies. Jeff’s two boys are huge and Jeff and Kim welcomed little Sophie a year ago. In fact, Monday was her birthday, so it was a really great honor to photograph them on Sophie’s first b-day.

Bride and Bloom Magazine!

September 25, 2007

Got some cool news yesterday from Amina Marechal, who owns Belle Fleur Company, that an image I shot of one of her bouquets has been published in Bride and Bloom magazine!

This is an image from the Rains/Foster wedding, which was way back in 2004 at the Four Seasons Aviara. Amina and I have gotten some serious mileage out of this image–it also ran on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens’ Simply Creative Wedding Flowers magazine.

Clark Girls!

September 19, 2007

You may remember Ella and Madeleine from our shoot back in November of 2006. This time, we headed down to Moonlight for a super-low-tide session a few evenings back. As expected, they were a total handful, but at least the beach gave them lots of room to run amok. The light was absolutely fantastic!

Babette and Malik

September 17, 2007

Babette and Malik were married on September 2, at Villa De Amore in Temecula. A month or so ago I wrote about shooting a wedding on a really hot day in Pasadena. Well, this day in Temecula was so much hotter–110 degrees at noon, when I arrived at the estate. As you’ll see from the pictures, Malik’s head needed to be wiped down several times during the ceremony ;-)

Emme and Mommy

September 10, 2007

With the Charger game over and not much to do, I decided to grab Emme and Jen to help me test some lighting setups I’ve been playing with lately.

As summer comes to a close, the flies are out in full force. Emme, being into everything that Jen and I are into, loves the flyswatter, or “flys wawa” as she calls it.
